'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League homecoming
Kane achieves his century goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has revealed that his desire in going back to the Premier League has faded and he is willing to negotiate a new deal with Bayern Munich.
The accomplished striker is currently halfway through the four-year agreement he agreed to when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the offseason of 2023.
The 32-year-old forward has scored an outstanding 103 goals in 106 games for the German club, playing a key role in them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which represented the first significant trophy of his distinguished career.
Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has recently stated that he would be pleased to see Kane go back to England, where he needs 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring record of 260.
However, the England skipper has now suggested that he is no longer as keen about going back home as he earlier was, and would definitely think about prolonging his tenure in Bavaria.
"In terms of remaining longer, I could definitely see that," he commented.
"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be willing to talk and have an straightforward conversation.
"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so progresses and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not considering about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have discovered in my career is that different options and different moments happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."
Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the historic top scorer for both Tottenham and England and recently became the fastest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five leagues, attaining the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a title had escaped him until he won the German title last season.
Kane admits that he was not sure how he would respond after breaking his trophy wait, but now thinks it has made him motivated for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.
"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.
"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to achieve in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
